On Thursday, September 22nd, we successfully hosted Jamaica’s first-ever Alternative Investment Summit under the theme, “The Emergence of Alternative Investments.” The hybrid event attracted business leaders, investors and corporate executives in various industries joining both physically and virtually from English, Spanish and French speaking Caribbean countries, and even streaming from as far as Australia. Hosted by Dr. Terri-Karelle Reid, the summit delved into topics such as Impact Investing, Portfolio Diversification, and the Untapped Power of Private Equity. This year’s Global Speaker was Ladell Robbins, Managing Director – BlackRock Alternative Investors.
