Under the theme “Building Resilience: Mobilising Capital for a Sustainable Caribbean”, Sygnus Capital marked the return of its Business at Breakfast Summit, convening leaders across government, finance, and industry to explore how capital can be mobilised to strengthen climate resilience across the region. The discussion featured Matthew Samuda, Minister of Water, Environment and Climate Change; Gerardo Aguilar, Head of Climate and Resilience at Sygnus USA; and Emanuel DaRosa, Founder and CEO of SunTerra Energy, and was moderated by James Connor, CEO of Sygnus Capital Puerto Rico. Together, they explored opportunities to scale investment in renewable energy, climate-smart infrastructure, water security, and other priority sectors, while highlighting the critical role of policy alignment, project preparation, and innovative financing mechanisms in unlocking sustainable investment across the Caribbean.
